In the video, Mihailo Popov looks at patterns in the biographies of entrepreneurs, leaders and visionaries, with reference to David Senra’s Founders podcast. Instead of copying someone else’s habits without context, use them to examine what could work in your own business.
An example is not a formula
A habit that helped someone in a particular time and context may not automatically fit another team. Look for the behavior behind the result, then check whether it fits your goals and constraints.
Turn inspiration into a testable step
Choose one idea from a biography or conversation. Write down the specific behavior it suggests, when you will try it and how you will know whether it helped. A small experiment gives more information than a general promise to do better.
- Choose one decision or habit, not an entire system.
- Agree with the team where and when to try it.
- Review after a week and adjust based on what changed.
Questions to discuss with your team
Which leadership example is relevant to our current challenge? What could we test without adding bureaucracy? What result would show that the practice helps? These questions preserve curiosity while moving toward application.
